Professional qualification: what is it? To better answer this question, one needs to compare and contrast with “academic qualification”.
“Academic qualification” usually entails theory and the learner does not require practical experience to attain the qualification. On the other hand, to attain a “professional qualification”, the learner needs a combination of theory and practical Know-how.
In addition, only a holder of a professional qualification is eligible for membership of a professional body – such as the Institute of Certified Public Accountants, even if that person may be a holder of the highest possible academic qualification.
KWIK College offers a range of programmes which prepare learners to attain professional qualifications in accounting, taxation, and related disciplines. The professional qualifications offered at the College examined and awarded by Professional Bodies in different countries and are accredited by the respective National Accreditation Authorities in those countries.
