Learners on “property taxes in Rwanda” course will be taken through the technical knowledge and know-how of Rwanda’s land use policy, tax incentives applicable to investments in real property, property taxes, tax on income from rent/lease of property, tax on income derived from agricultural land, the role of Tax Assistants as regards tax declaration, their conduct & ethical obligations, financial crimes related to property taxes, and the consequences of tax non-compliance, not only for the taxpayer, but also for the Tax Assistant who has assisted the taxpayer in tax declaration.
