The Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K) is designed for persons who aspire to work as professional accountants, auditors, finance managers, tax managers, or specialist consultants in these disciplines. The CPA-K programme is examined and awarded by Kenya Accountants & Secretaries Examinations Board (KASNEB).

Upon completion of the programme, and after completion of prescribed practical experience requirement, the graduate is eligible to become a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). ICPAK is a member of the International Federation of Accountants, a global body that brings together millions of professional accountants in 135 countries.
CPA-K is structured in three stages:
